Nigerian real estate powerhouses, led by the Nedcomoaks Group, are gearing up to host the Invest in Africa Summit 2025, a landmark event designed to transform diaspora investment in the continent’s booming property market.

The summit will be held across three major UK cities , London (March 15), Manchester (March 22), and Birmingham (March 23) and is expected to unlock billions in economic growth by connecting Africans abroad with premium real estate opportunities in Nigeria.

Speaking ahead of the event, Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo, Group Managing Director of Nedcomoaks, described the summit as more than a marketplace for property transactions. “This summit is about building sustainable economic bridges between the diaspora, top investors, and financial institutions,” he said. “Africa’s challenges demand creative African solutions. This is our opportunity to drive economic growth and infrastructure development through real estate.”

With Nigeria offering some of the world’s highest rental yields, the summit will provide attendees with exclusive access to investment opportunities, including:

  • Networking with top industry leaders and policymakers

  • Fireside chats on sustainable housing models and financing options

  • Tailored mortgage and financing insights for diaspora investors

  • Updates on government policies surrounding foreign direct investment (FDI)

  • Direct access to premium real estate projects in Nigeria and across Africa

Ufuoma Ilesanmi, CEO of Haven Homes, described the summit as a “game-changer,” citing increasing interest in Nigerian real estate among the diaspora community.

“Now is the perfect time for credible developers, realtors, and investors to unite and create lasting solutions,” she said, while also calling for stronger industry collaboration and improved policy support.
Other key partners include Dr. Chiedu Nweke (Periwinkle Residences Limited), Tayo Sonuga (Haven Homes), Engr. Abidemi Amusa (Carrillion Consultants Ltd.), Dr. Olatujoye Oluwatosin (Zylus Group International), and Allen Onyema (Air Peace).

Organizers say the Invest in Africa Summit 2025 will not only provide profitable investment pathways but also reconnect Africans in the diaspora with opportunities they may have left behind. The event aims to promote inclusive growth by mobilizing real estate as a vehicle for economic development, job creation, and legacy-building.

“This is not just about buying homes , it’s about building the Africa we want,” Dr. Okonkwo emphasized
