
The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Mr. Adebayo Adeniyi Adedosu on his recognition at the Black History Month Awards Ceremony in Toronto, Canada.
Adedosu was honored for his heroism and outstanding contributions to his community at the event, which was organized by the Toronto Police Service in collaboration with The British Methodist Episcopal Church.
In a statement issued by Abdur-Rahman Balogun, NiDCOM’s Head of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols, Dabiri-Erewa described the award as a testament to Adedosu’s commitment to excellence and service.

“Your recognition for ‘Heroism’ and ‘a Job Well Done’ is a proud moment for all Nigerians in the diaspora. It reflects the exceptional contributions that Nigerians continue to make globally,” she stated.
She further encouraged Nigerians abroad to be positive role models, upholding the values of hard work and integrity.
The award ceremony took place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at The British Methodist Episcopal Church in Toronto, where Adedosu was celebrated alongside other distinguished individuals.
Dabiri-Erewa reaffirmed NiDCOM’s dedication to recognizing and supporting Nigerians excelling in various fields worldwide
