Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today welcomed the French Ambassador to Nigeria, Marc Fonbaustier, during a courtesy visit to Lagos House, Marina. The high-level meeting served as a platform to explore potential areas of collaboration between France and Lagos across various sectors.

During their discussions, Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted key development initiatives currently underway in the state, emphasizing the numerous investment opportunities available for foreign partners.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to fostering international partnerships that drive economic growth, infrastructural development, and innovation.
Ambassador Fonbaustier, in response, expressed France’s interest in deepening relations with Lagos, particularly in areas of trade, technology, education, and cultural exchange. He acknowledged the state’s strategic importance as an economic hub and commended the government’s efforts in creating a conducive environment for investment.
